The Day I Stopped Forgiving

They say forgiveness sets you free. I say it’s a lie. I forgave once, twice, too many times. And in the end, all it did was make me weak.

I spent years being walked over, used, lied to. Every time, I convinced myself that people change, that second chances mean something. But they don’t. Some people don’t deserve redemption.

The day I stopped forgiving, I finally took control of my own life. I cut people off. I walked away. I stopped making excuses for others and started prioritizing myself. And for the first time in years, I felt truly free.

What do you think?
