I walk through the quiet morning streets and see a world without borders, fear, or division. Looking up I look up and see only the blue sky. There is no cloud-filled heaven above me, and there is no fiery hell below. I do not fear what comes after this life. I only feel the warm wind on my face and the solid ground beneath my feet.
Living for today I watch the people walking by in the market. No one is rushing or saving their happiness for a distant tomorrow. We are all just living for today. We share bread, we talk, and we breathe the same air right now.
No lines or fences I do not see any borders or fences around us. There are no separate countries here, and there are no flags telling me who to hate. I have no reason to pick up a weapon, and no one has a reason to fight me. I do not hear arguments about religion or holy wars. We do not divide ourselves by what we believe or where we were born. We just exist together as neighbors.
Joining the dream people often look at me and call me a dreamer. They say my ideas are impossible. But I turn around and look at the faces in the crowd. I am not the only one. Slowly, the others start to smile and nod. I hope one day you will join us too. Then the whole world will finally live as one.
