An experience like none other for a college freshman.
The year was 1957 and I was a freshman at my college. My friend who was a junior and involved with the athletic department as the PA announcer for games.
This particular evening was an away basketball game at a college in Kentucky. He drove an older Packard vehicle and we were accompanied by two of the college cheerleaders. After the game we were on our way back. I was in the back with one of the cheerleaders when she whispered…. Do you want to have sex.
In those days it was either use what they were called then a rubber or take a chance and wait for a monthly report. Of course I had not come prepared for an opportunity like that and she never mentioned one so we had unprotected sex. It was the first and only time I had met her. Needless to say it was a very enjoyable ride back to campus.
A couple of weeks later I ran into her on campus and she pulled me aside telling me she was late. Thankfully a few days later she told me it was a false alarm. Wheeeee !!!
