When I filed for divorce she told me I was throwing away a perfect marriage and leaving a great woman, I told her that she summed it perfectly. She thought we had all of that in her mind but overlooked all the bitching and telling me how bad of a person I was if I had a beer or read Playboy magazine.
Two weeks into it she wanted me to sell my motorcycle because those were for single men looking for women. What??!! Plus they were dangerous for a family man to ride, I had to start thinking about my future children and be around to take care of them.
You know what was really funny? My ex mother in law met up with me at a pub saying she wanted to talk to me before I filed for divorce, guess she did not know I had already done it but no worries, I met up with her. She told me that I surprised her lasting as long as I did because all Sally did was complain about me and my MIL just wanted to see me one more time before all the fireworks really started. The fact that her own mother was not mad at me told me a lot.
