I loaned my brother money that I never expected to get back, long story. So anyways like two years goes by, he paid me like ten percent back so far but had not paid in a few months.
His wife shows up at my place one evening and tells me he told her about it and asked me how much he still owes me. I was honest with her and she laughs then says You know what? You can do whatever you want with me tonight because you deserve it. I told her no, you are his wife, wouldn’t be right and I would hate myself.
She left him, shows up like six months later, told her no way, my brother would never talk to me again. She told me he doesn’t deserve you at all and I told her you can’t pick your family, just forget about him and move on. She still asked me why I wasn’t mad at him, told her not to stress about it then asked her if she needed anything and how she is doing.
