I'm in the same boat as you. I think at some point your best friend will figure it out. I told my best friend I had a crush on him but he already knew as well as everyone else. I had no idea it was that obvious. It didn't ruin our friendship. I'm not saying it will be that way with you too. Everyone is different. I hope you can figure out what to do. I feel for you.
